Pelvic Inflammatory Diseas

I’ve been diagnosed with chlamydia serveral months ago (I may possibly have had it for like a year). I got treatment for it (7 day antibiotics cure) and 4 weeks later I got re-tested (negative). I was wondering if the antibiotics that kill the chlamydia bacteria also kill the PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) bacteria. I experience some pelvic pain, pretty mild though. It doesn’t hurt…but I just notice them. I’m scared of getting infertile. Is it possible to have PID even when you’re treated for chlamydia and that treatment was successful?
